My GT3 RS has 1300 miles on it (drove it home yesterday/today). AMA
I picked the car up from PPF near Chicago, and drove to Branson, MO yesterday, and to Austin, TX today. The car now has 1313 miles on it... I worked through this break-in schedule (https://imgur.com/a/fPN8SYr)... 5000 rpms until 300 miles, working up to 7500 rpms and eventually 9000 rpms. Had some great driving through the Arkansas mountains... at one point, a truck in front of me started racing up a windy road, and I followed, touge style. He was obviously a local, knew the road well, and damn if this wasn't the best-handing truck I've ever seen (and good driving too). I followed, he gave me a thumbs up and I took the lead for a minute, before he turned off.
This is my first Porsche so I can't compare to other/previous models. The road noise below 100 mph isn't too bad... above 100 it starts to get loud. I tested the windows open up to about 110mph, but my temporary license plate came loose so I had to put the windows up. But at 110 or 120mph, I didn't notice any wind buffeting, and I didn't notice too much heat, although for real track driving there will be a lot more heat coming out of the radiator. I don't think it consumed any measurable amount of oil on the gauge during my 1300 miles so far. The seats (LWBS) are totally fine... 1200 miles in 2 days and I was fine at the end of each day, and my wife agreed. The seats are firm, but just the right shape to distribute the weight I guess. The only noise issue I noticed was my upper seat makes a creaking sound sometimes when I move around. I haven't looked closely to see what's causing it.
The Bose system wasn't as bad as I expected, after reading comments here. The ride wasn't as bad either. I had a Lotus Exige for 9 years so maybe my standards are just different. I barely got any pics, especially of all the bugs on the front before I cleaned them off. I'm still learning all the PCM stuff and all the dashboard/instrument panel stuff. I figured out how to dim all the interior lights except for the orange "passenger air bag" lights above the rear view mirror (in the 2nd photo below). Does anyone know how to make these less bright? I couldn't find it anywhere in PCM.
Things on the to-do list now:
1) Hardwire the radar detector (Uniden R8) using a mirror tap
2) Hardwire the dashcam to the fuse box
3) Get it track ready (maybe brake fluid change?, alignment, and maybe oil change)
Updated to add these:
4) Figure out if I'm going to get a centerlock tool like Hytorc or the renntorq thing.
5) Figure out how to mount rear license plate to the bumper
How do I dim these lights?

1)there is an option on the PCM menu for % of interior lighting intensity to drop those airbag lights. I also used the tinted film over it as well.
2)Look at the FitcamX for the front dash cam if you want the most factory look of all the cameras. Its also PlugNPlay
3)Renntorq is a very good value. Can swap out wheels pretty fast with it and not have to buy a bunch of bulky tools. Probably the most compact option. 1 Renntorq and a stardard 20" 1/2" drive torque wrench

Nice first Porsche! Keep the write ups and experiences coming!
How annoying is not having a trunk for these road trips? Especially with wife in tow?
Are you messing with the suspension at all to soften it or just riding stock?
How were you able to get allocation as your first Porsche? Just paid the market? Or was there some tricks that can help others in?

So far I've only messed with "Normal" vs Sport and Track mode, but I haven't actually adjusted the suspension/PTV/TCS yet. I have a lot to learn with this car... some of this has to happen on the racetrack (finding the limits).
I attribute my getting the allocation to 1) persistence (calling around 30 dealers, visiting many in person, getting a lot of "good luck!"), 2) luck (when the one dealer called me back, I was the first person who answered the phone and said yes), and 3) money - paying an ADM was probably the only way I would get one.

The FitcamX does look cool, but I already bought a Viofo A139 Pro with front & rear. Wiring the rear camera is going to be interesting (I hate pulling apart interior trim etc). If anyone has wired a rear camera on a 992 GT3 please post here. The electrical part (hardwiring) I'm ok with... but I'm nervous about running the wire to the rear camera around the headliner.
