Arrow Carbon Fiber End Plates For The GT3

I'd like to share a new option for carbon endplates on the 992 GT3. We reimagined the design of the rear wing end plates. The upgraded design flows with the rear window line, and rear arches. 30% larger for a slight bump in aero (tested, will post results of CFD once final numbers are in) yet lighter than the OEM units. Made by hand from prepreg carbon of the highest quality. Then brushed with UV resistant epoxy resin made to withstand years of sunshine. We also clear coat them in the end to achieve that mirror gloss finish. We provide 3m VHB adhesive on the end plates, the same adhesive Porsche uses from the factory.

We'd love to hear some community feedback, since this is one of our first products. Thanks for reading in, and glad to be a part of this community!

Available from our shop here.

Thanks for the question cosmos. It's pretty easy, a heat gun or a hot day, and a sharp exacto knife, and slowly cut through the glue in the back, then remove the glue with some elbow grease and WD40. Removal is a 30min job, then prep and clean and glue on the new ones. We also ship a complete user manual with the endplates on how to do this, it has a few more steps to make sure they stay on for good.

Can the orginal end plates be damaged at all from removal?

Are you heating the end plates up before removal or just pull them off?

No the endplates are strong enough and don't really flex. The glue that we use as do the original pieces is a foam, and is flexible. Also there is no need to use any force, if it's a hot day or you have a heat gun at a low setting, it's enough to make the glue flexible enough to get a scalpel in and slowly cut away. If you don't feel confident enough doing it I would suggest a shop that can do it or even a wrap shop should be plenty skilled to do this.
