No way in hell are you likely to find some shop other than a dealer that will have the tools and experience.

Without a way to fix a nail hole you could be really screwed in the middle of no where ..
Just me?

Pack a quart or two of oil.

If you are really risk adverse, bring a set of front and rear brake pads too.

You could be a real boss and just use blue painters tape like autox bros :-) Enjoy and congrats. I'm located in Marin and will keep my eyes out for you!

Wow - nice ride! I'm going to rely on the PPF, but the painter's tape option is something I will consider. I'll buy some when I land, before leaving the dealership.

First thing I do will be to buy two quarts of oil before leaving the dealership.

I think the brakes are fine. The previous owner was an older lady and didn't really push the car. Those PCCB pads were like new according to their 111 point inspection.

It might be fun but on the other hand it sounds like a slog.

Good luck whatever you choose.
Thanks, I plan to take it slow and steady. I love long drives (call me crazy), so really looking forward to this one.

I can just envision getting a flat tire in bum fu-kTexas and the tow truck driver comes up and says .
“I ain’t never seen one of these porch-es all I gots is my tow truck, and a hook..”
I carry the Renntorq https://renntorq-llc.square.site/pro...lock-tool-v2/2 and a safety seal plug kit https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Seal-K...oaAjpAEALw_wcB

Let's hope not. I have full front PPF and PPF in rear. Plus I'm a very careful driver and won't be pushing the car on this trip. I quite enjoy long road trips.

I dont think I'm alone with this view.
Completely agree and glad it's got PPF in those places

I would be the same way. Glad mine has the 18 way adjustable sports seats. I love buckets at the track, but this is dual purpose and I wanted some comfort in my seat.
