I have a full Akrapovic system and it has no codes. How ever it does need to be taken to the dealer to run a program that recalibrates the valves. It uses the stock controllers that bolt onto the system. The program runs an open and close program that takes 1 - 2 mins and then you go to go. Not sure about Dundon systems but I do know they make amazing products. Prob the biggest gains from them guys. If I did it again I would prob take that road in the titanium header system. Coke or Pepsi both top class

Thanks for the info! Pretty decent difference over OEM?

It feels a lot stronger all the way across the power band. I had a jcr system first keeping the OPF filters. When Akrapovic dropped it I moved on and the headers make a huge difference. I sold my 992 GT3 after 1 year and 5k mikes. My new RS arrives in July / August and I am bolting it on straight away. I won,t even bother driving it Stock.

UPDATE:
went with a Headers and Exhaust. Much lighter. Check the weights below.
there’s two things that must happen after the exhaust is installed.

1.You need to run the exhaust falls through a cycle so that they relearn. Points of the rotation.
2. you need to reset the ECU and the parameters for the catalytic converters so it really adjusts to operate with a 200cel.

any Porsche specific garage with the correct tools can do both for you in 10 mins.

I have before and after videos I’ll try to get up so you guys can have a listen.

He said no as he had the porache garage run a valve adjustment program. 10 mins and you are good to go.

@Ukkid74 Thanks mate. @APEX GT3 didn't actually say no, unless i misread it, and said he needed to reset the ECU.

No CEL. And I drove the car pretty hard later on that evening.

it’s intense. Can’t wait for the next cars and coffee event to show it off

FYI - with it in normal mode: with the exhaust valves shut and the windows up and driving in automatic… “the going to dinner with the wife mode” the residence in the cabin is about the same as it was with the car in sport mode with the factory headers and exhaust. If you look at the headers closely, you’ll see that they welded a pipe to connect all of the header pipes and added another pipe for sound tuning. They really did a lot to make this push the performance line and sound like a 991 GT3RS with a bit more kick.
+That plus the additional intake sound pushed into the cabin with these 992’s make this car sound pretty spectacular.

For some context before my comment: my 992 gt3 is the nicest car I’ve had by a mile. I think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. I’m still in the honeymoon phase 1 year later…

i put the full system on it yesterday. Holy s%#*. This is the upgrade I didn’t know I absolutely needed. My only complaint about the car pre exhaust was the *relatively* more docile sound and drive experience at the lower rev range (as expected with a NA). The akrapovic really gave life to the car between 1-5k. I do feel it makes for a more enjoyable driving experience in the lower rev band (might be in my head) and in my relatively uninformed experience, I’d say it’s almost a necessary upgrade to this car. Complete game changer.
