Yachting Blue Metallic GT3 pics
Long time lurker here, just wanted to share my Yachting Blue Metallic GT3. I’m 3000 miles in and the car has broken in beautifully. I put an Akrapovic muffler on it which sounds incredible— it sounds like a GT3 ate a GT3. (I do miss the loud "crack" sound on shifting from the 991.2… I can’t be the only one!)
Only issues with the car have been
A) throttle bank 1 error which bricked the car and had to be towed (luckily this didn’t happen out in the mountains where I don’t think they have Porsche dealerships ). It just needed a reset (recalibration?) and it was good to go.
B) random rear window crack which took a few months to replace.
I went with sofas because I daily drive it and PDK because it’s faster. Silver stitching/belts, white gauges, black carbon ceramics, matrix headlights, carbon roof, and of course no painted key/AC vent slats because they wouldn’t do that with the PTS option, lol. Life is hard.
The color is a true slate blue with almost purplish/lilac undertones with gunmetal grey emerging in certain light. People love it and so do I!

I've had my eye on this color for years and would choose it for my order if PTS was open...

That's a beautiful car that was in my top 5 PTS colors. Enjoy in good health. Get some clear corners on the car STAT!

Thank you very much, guys! I think that the color was debuted with the Panamera but IMO it suits the 911 well. Seeing a lot of cars popping up in it including GTs. It's a very "livable" color that you don't get tired of looking at and yet has enough visual interest to remain quite exotic.
Here are some random phone photos in different light
next to its brother, a Slate Grey Turbo S (very cool color, grey meets olive drab. I would say it's in vogue)

NIce! Great to see someone else loving the color!
Here's additional shots in another thread of the car and color

I'd add to your description: It is also at times a dusty medium blue metallic, which is the hue I like the most. And super metallic in direct sun.
It may not be a "classic" 911 color, but if you love metallics as I do it's a nice choice!
