I posted a similar thread over on the 991 GT3 forum, but realize this might be a better place.

I'm looking for recent trade in values for a 991.2 GT3RS, relative to MSRP. I figure some of you new 992 owners probably traded in a 991, so I'm curious if anyone has any data.

General word is the 991.23rs is very good property fetching top dollar and, the sale pricing and general movement at or close to those prices appear to support this claim. Im also keen on the 992gt3 but aren’t convinced its worth changing the slightly more analog.23rs for one. Im more inclined to change mine for a 9923rs, not the gt3. Not sure how others feel about this as i can only speak for myself. No doubt the 992 gt3 has improved the steering with the new double wishbone front end but the 991.23rs looks equally if not more purposeful and is hard to fault. From what i can see guys i know with .23rs’s appear to be holding on to them or holding out for the 9923rs. The 9923rs will undoubtedly be the pick for most as it will wear the more agressive bodywork and be even more engaging with additional hp.
