Default What’s Next?

Seems like we have a good balance of people taking deliveries and folks waiting on one coming up.

That said, I’m sure plenty of these cars will be out to good use over the next few months (or years) but it also gets me wondering - what’s the next car for some of you?

I’ve been curious about potentially stepping into a Ferrari but am kind of anxious of about the stigma and attention it grabs, which is the polar opposite from the 911 in my experience.

Ferrari is next level in a good way. Go for it. You won’t be disappointed.

for me- I’m waiting on my 765 spider and then take a break for a bit as we finish up some construction projects.

765. Nice. I like the way you roll.

What are you building? I have a small office being built out in the backyard currently and I miss the pre-Covid days of construction. Waiting on custom windows for months at this point.

Building a new house. Been digging the side of a mountain for past 6 months. Finally getting ready for slab. Retaining walls going in now. Also just closed on a property in Sedona and will build a vacation home there. Yes I’m a glutton for punishment.

GT4RS after the Touring and then the GT3RS. I was thinking maybe a 458 Speciale but I bleed Porsche.

I'm building too. Will be our primary residence (in Nashville). Biggest C19 impact has been the need to order early and pay early. But so far the timeline has been mostly normal for custom building. First time I started with an empty lot, no plans, etc. Got to see the whole process from demo of the old structures onward.

Sedona and Nashville are amazing spots for very different reasons. I’m firmly planted in the Bay Area but would take either of those spots.

What do you all think about the transition from Porsche to Ferrari? What should I be looking out for? I actually drive my cars so I’m really curious about a F being a somewhat DD.

My next one is a Huracan Tecnica. Will be finalizing the order at the Lamborghini Lounge in NYC this coming Friday.

No issues with Ferrari as a DD. They are robust abs fun. Will you get attention? Sure. But who cares. Buy and enjoy. If you are going for more of a daily, 488 is amazing. F8 is also amazing. A bit more tame than the Pista but even that can be driven quite a bit.

458 for me personally is too underpowered but I know lots of folks love them.

Yeah, modern Ferrari's (post 458) are as robust as Porsches, if not more so.

They are not the finicky Italian prima donnas of years past.

Good to know. I have his mindset that Ferrari basically just costs money by even looking at it wrong and needs some $700 battery trickle
