I've never understood why people cover up their plate when at the track. I've come up with the following reasons but if there are others I'd like to hear them:
1) Don't want boss / wife / GF to know I was at the track that day.
2) Don't want guy behind me, wanting to pass, to rear end me while trying to read my custom plate (although I doubt that is the case here with Shake)
3) Don't want guy I wrecked to be able to prove I took him out.
4). Don't want to give Insurance company any proof I wadded up the car at the track when I put in a claim for $300K.

I'm glad they went all wide body on the 992...
Kidding - I would never.
