It's going to be the GT3 flat 6. No chance in hell they put the base Carrera T turbo'd motor in the ST.

Confirmed offered in 6-speed manual, but may be offered in PDK as well.

Or GT3 RS engine (a few technical upgrades and 15hp more).

Actually most rumors say it's an RS engine with a 6 speed manual. So point being if they take a GT3 and put that engine in or take a T and put that engine in, the difference boils down to what suspension will the ST have. SPASM, RS suspension, or some softened GT3/RS suspension, or something completely different

I know there are subtle differences but I was putting the GT3 and 3RS engines together for the sake of the discussion. It will be the flat 6 was my only point, whether its the RS version or not we will see.

Taller tires are better for roads (potholes and stuff) and less important for track. 10-20mm wider tires - I honestly cannot tell the difference, and I can tell the difference between 2 heat-cycle slick and 3 heat-cycle slick just by feel.
Also, Gt4 RS and GT3 have nearly identical chassis width. GT3 only has 15mm wider rear track (1557mm vs 1542mm), which is pretty much the difference in tire width, so chassis width is actually identical. Objectively, 718 is not a smaller or lighter car by any perceivable measure. Most of the difference in body measurement is superficial and due to tires and aero appendages sticking out further on the GT3. Both are great cars, but "718 is so much smaller/lighter" is objectively inaccurate and "nimbler/better for road" is questionable (I, for one, do NOT want the noise of GT4 RS on the road - I want to save my ears for my fancy music equipment).

Part of the illusion is due to the much more intimate (cramped) cabin, with the seats right up against the firewall…

Coming from a 981 GT4 to a 992 GT3 Touring I would very much agree with the two comments above.
In addition, I always felt like the GT4 was a "go-kart" given the mid-engine dynamics. In contrast, the GT3 feels so much more "planted" with a ton of grip!

cleaning lady on ST (onlyfans), which is a rumored and unconfirmed model so far (hallo Germany)

only the right rear wheel will be powered to help drifting. definitely a big 2Jz style single turbo. the rear seat area is plexiglass so you can see into the engine bay.

You can hear 9k RPM from the prototypes circling the 'ring. It is clearly not the base/T motor.

Suspensions on the base/T/S/S sport (along with respective cabriolet, targa, and AWD versions) are all basically the same with slightly different tuning. No way that is going under a $250-300k 'lightweight' car (and one with centerlocks).

If anything new, probably something that goes up the hill rapidly. I.e., electric.
