That doesn't make any sense. I wonder if there's a specific option/item they are waiting on.

The color looks great

Thanks. I'm really pleased with the colour...if i ever see it! ;-)

It's bizarre, as i can pretty much see all the trim options from the photos.

I also wondered if it was a Right Hand Drive thing but it seems the other cars stuck (shown on here) are all LHD.

I also thought the car could have failed a test drive or has a quality/paint issue but again unlikely as there are several cars that had 40+ days added after production.

A Total Mystery.....

Great video, that’s exactly what it’s like to drive.

It’s not a lap time track car I agree with, but that’s not to say it’s not great fun to drive and explore its limits in the safety of a race track. I took mine round Silverstone last month and it was great fun. Lap times could not have been any further from my mind at the time.

True.

It's not a track car, but it is a car for the track (which is true for all 911s).

I think @cosmos was speaking tongue in cheek. This car is good everywhere

The thing about track driving is that even within that, there are subgroups. People who like full contact, wheel to wheel. People who like time trials. People who like to set personal bests and don't care about niceties like aircon, ground clearance, or paint protection. I used to be in some way shape or form part of the above groups. Now, I sit in another group - people who like going to track to see what their cars can do unencumbered by traffic, pedestrians, autonomous cars, left lane prii, trucks, potholes, and of course, cops. The S/T is a perfect car for the latter group which is why I bought it. I can drive it on track for fun (don't care about lap times necessarily) and I can drive it to Alice's on Skyline with friends for fun. I can't wait.
