The goodyears seem higher pitched with less noise on road. The Pirellis are very loud, completely drown out stereo low frequencies. Both seem to drive about the same. Bump harshness is about the same, but the goodyears have a bit more vibration/NVH - I've discovered several new rattles in the interior with the goodyears. Goodyears have less grip when cold. Have not had the goodyears on the track. The pirellis had good grip on track, but the tread design is not robust and literally disintegrates or chunks off.
I tried to post this up last night but was getting a dead link....glad you figured it out.
I think there might be some merit to what he is saying. My car came with the Pirellis and think the ride is pretty good (certainly no worse than my .2) It would be interesting to drive a PSC2 equipped car back to back.

This guy says huge difference between the Michelin and pirelli , so huge it changes everything. Anyone haves Same opinion? Hard to believe!
I had Michelin cup 2’s on my 991.2 GT3 and got good year this time. Both tires suck when cold, but good year maybe takes a little longer to warm up. Good year when warm seem maybe slightly stickier. They behave like semi slicks. They pick up a ton of small pebbles and dirt particles and toss it behind. So much that on group drives people complain more than they do with the cars running cup 2. The extra stickiness is noticeable but so is the front suspension so I don’t know exactly what to attribute it to.
The sidewall of the good year is more rounded/less square giving the car an appearance of more wheel gap. Not terrible but just an observation when comparing to other 992 GT3 with cup 2. I like both tires, but since I always run Michelin on all my vehicles I’ll eventually go back to cup 2.
So for a car that won’t see the track, couldn’t you just go with a PS4S as well?
Thats my plan once my original tires are spent. I’ll even track it on PS4S, but I’m not a pro driver by any means so the tires will be the least of the things holding back my lap times.
