For those of you interested (like me) in the interior noise: @19:00 min in
appears to have a ton of drone, but at the same time, sounds more like an F1 than any Porsche I’ve ever heard… decisions decisions

Hey all — I have an R1 motorsports exhaust for a 997.2 Turbo. It has 300 cell cats and black quad tips. It sounds amazing, but it will throw a CEL for cats not heating up to the right temperature. It was installed in 2020 and only a few thousand miles on the set up. It’s in great condition and I’ll let it go for $2k. It was over $4k installed. Let me know if you are interested.

Hello,
I just picked up a 24 GT3 and I was lucky enough to have this installed two days ago.
I got the Cat Back without the Headers. While I am still in my break in period, I was not revving past 6000rpm.
To me, it’s not much louder in the cabin. It’s definitely bearable.
I came from a 718 Spyder with a JCR non silenced race exhaust which honestly screamed much louder. But it could also be the drop top and I also stepped on it much harder.
That being said, the sound is different. The R1 is higher pitched than the JCR.
The welding and quality seems very good. However I fell that the tips were ever so slightly angled off and that is bugging me a little bit. I have yet to speak to the R1 team about it.
