Default Manthey Racing OM-1 Wheels

I didn't catch this when the Manthey 992 GT3 kit was announced a couple of weeks ago as I though these were just the OEM wheels with the rear aero disc applied. But I saw on IG today that Manthey will be selling these wheels separately from the kit, and they are substantively different from OEM upon seeing them at an angle. Not sure whether the rear aero disc is required or not, but in case some of you are considering some nice, strong, lightweight track wheels, these look like a good blend of the OEM design and the BBS FI-R (likely a collab with BBS to produce these).

Here's my pictures of the Manthey OM-1 wheels, a combining of OEM and FI-R from BBS.

Awesome, thanks for posting! Haven't seen these angles and details before. I imagine they are $$,$$$, but pretty good value in comparison to BBS Mag RE wheels for lightness and strength.

Surprised that they changed from Mag to Alu for the 992 MR wheels (but should cost much less)

I like!

Cleaning all those tight inner corners, not so much.

A coat of Kamikaze ceramic wheel coating will definitely make life a lot easier.

so those are forged aluminium wheels, not magnesium? what's the point compared to the OEM forged wheels? what is the wait saving?

Yes, they are similar to the stock wheels with excess material removed. I think the weight savings is significant (but not as big as Magnesium)

What are the sizes and offset of these wheels and what size tire does Manthey recommend?

I can't speak to the specs of the OM-1 wheels, but I'd imagine they'd be similar or identical to the OEM GT3 wheels. Maybe Eric with SupremePower can confirm:
Front: 9.5 J x 20 ET 46
Rear: 12 J x 21 ET 45

For tires, looking closely at the press photos and Marcus' pics, the tire sizes Manthey used on the blue car matches the OEM recommended tire sizes:
Front: 255/35 ZR 20
Rear: 315/30 ZR 21

Since Manthey is owned by Porsche they will more than likely be OE Spec. Im waiting for info from our Manthey vendor. Any info we get we will post up for you guys
