Default PCCB - Bedding In Process

Anyone with PCCBs know if there is a specific bedding in process? Especially if you track or plan to track your 992 GT3.

thanks

991 PCCB instructions but 992 PCCB's are the same caliper and rotor, although they seem to have different pad compound.

I’ve read about that a bit. They’re the same size just a slight different compound, yeah?

In case you have any doubts, this is the 992 GT3 PCCB caliper. Identical 991 GT3 part.
You can use the 991 pad as sgroer suggested. It is a more durable compound.

992 GT3 PCCB caliper = 991 GT3 caliper

I wonder how many of us actually take time and effort to follow this procedure... my last attempt was several braking stops with some arbitory cool down periods. Clearly didnt follow this to the letter. !

991 pads are a little thicker. More copper in the compound. Better heat dissipation. The difference in braking performance and dust is massive.

I am so much happier with the car overall with the 991 pads

Sure wish that Porsche would include a brake temp monitor somewhere in the instrument cluster!
