As part of a Porsche authorized dealer agreement, they are bound to list every car that is delivered to the dealer, regardless if it is sold already as a customer order. For example, both my 992s were listed on that dealer's website upon arrival with 'Contact us for availability' noted in lieu of price. Both cars were already spoken for by me, yet they showed on their website, on Porschefinder and by consequence on Auto trader, cars.com etc. as if they were on inventory available for sale. So these GT3 car listings 40-50 or whatever the number is, are totally misleading, especially if they are being offered at a Porsche authorized dealer. I agree that there are cars available out there. Just not that there is 4 dozen cars sitting because the market cannot support the ridiculous ADM being asked.

40 out of the 50 992 GT3's on Autotrader are 'Used'. 4 out of the 10 ones listed as 'New' are listed with $100k markups. 44 is not that far from 4 dozen. Cars are getting sold at that level of markup in some markups, but again, they're not getting snatched up quickly at that price, as evidenced by the auctions that have all ended under $300k, all but one ending without hitting reserve.

i was going to type the same thing. Of the 50 that are currently listed on Autotrader, 13 have no price or are listed for msrp. The rest have 100k+ mark up. So some there between 37 and 44 cars are actually cars that are for sale. The rest are autopopulated by the system.
Also, the ADs cannot list the cars above msrp on their websites.. They can put 'call for price' or list at msrp and when you call they hit you with the ADM bomb.
Maybe these ADM's will go down when warm weather comes back (kidding). However, it does appear big ADM sales are happening in FL right now from 2nd hand dealers I talk to.
Anyone know how many 992 GT3's Porsche is making a month? Is that number going up or down each month?
I been in automotive engineering for 30 years and never seen shortages like this. When the supply of parts and raw materials gets better this ADM should reduce. Unless we are all electric by then...... lol

There are definitely people buying at these price points. For example, a Atlantic Motor Group in Florida has a GT3 at $350k advertised on FerrariChat. A few weeks later reduced the price to $310k, but now it's gone. So there are customers biting at those prices, just doesn't seem like there are a ton of them, even in Florida.
Dealers will old out they don’t need the cash, but will see who balks …….this car has been sitting for awhile who knows what they paid for it. It’s the first touring for sale and no one wants it(:

I thought the front of the tourings were color matched to the car…

As others said not a touring, add to that some aftermarket parts (painted wheels and custom painted calipers). I wouldn't buy it for MSRP

there are no shortages effecting GT3s. They built more 911s last year than in 2020 and can build all they want. At this price point they can get all the parts needed.
