I was wrong. It is then bolt on the plastic housing. Also there was a bit of oil staining on the diffuser and on the bottom of the engine. Anyone else have this issue. Jamie and dundon shot me a note on social media and said it's a seal issue and some of the 3RS were having this problem. Sigh.....

Also almost wrapped here. Will check the autel m808 functionality shortly

You have an early build with the metal tank plug.

Yes, it’s this one on the bottom and the one on the back of the engine (facing rearward)

Strange really. Figured they'd all have switched by the time the RS was being built. Oh well. More importantly!!!!

The Autel M808 service reset worked. I made a video on the step by step that's uploading to YouTube now. I can also confirm it works on the 971.2 Panera GTS and a Mercedes VS30 sprinter van lol. In the OEM selection it has just about every brand other than Ferrari

Nope, GT3, GT3 RS, and GT4 RS all have metal and plastic versions…

Strong work Richard. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad the reset worked. I will be buying that Autel version. .

That's the one. I posted a video a few posts back on the menu procedure as well.
