Yeah there are some boats but they just fill up quickly it seems. Not the end of the world, but would be nice if it arrives early summer so I can break it in and get some track time on it.

 

Well, the Glovis Superior is pulling into Emden now. Keep your fingers crossed. I'm feeling the same about the Summer !

Has anyone seen the Canada/US east coast schedule for May?

 

Scroll up as there is one posted above for east coast and west coast ships that covered leaving Emden from late March to mid-May.

It was accurate for awhile as I got on Heritage Leader to San Diego on 4/24 and Glovis Superior to Benicia arrived at Emden port today a day behind schedule.

Haven't seen anything beyond those dates.

 

From other folks experience, what is the time interval between the boat arriving at Emden and when TYD updates to showing the car on the boat?

 

For me the ship arrived late on the 22nd and left port sometime on the 24th - about 1.5 days. I think my TYD updated about 4-6 hours after the VesselFinder.com site said it left port.

I asked my SA if it was accurate and I actually made the ship and his system had already updated to show left Emden. Good luck.

 

Supreme Ace just left Emden for Halifax yesterday. I don't think there are more vessels Halifax bound this month. At least nothing on the schedule being reported so far.

Found that site already but it only provides week 7 (Feb/mar) update.

 

Do cars bound for the west coast only get dropped off in Benicia, or can they also be dropped at San Diego? In other words, if the Glovis Cougar (which is in Emden in mid May) is only going to San Diego and not Benicia, does that mean no west coast bound Porsches will be on that boat? I assume VW group distributes the port of entry for the various brands, so for example Porsches go to Benicia and VW and Audis go to San Diego, or something like that?

 

That is true for the VAG export but Hyundai is mostly up to date there it seems. There is a contact button there, if you reach out to them, they will send you the latest schedules as well.

I just got notified on TYD that the car is on the water ! Thank you Glovis Superior. My delivery date in the West also moved up. Good stuff
