Default Track day at Sebring with 992 gt3

Coming from a 991.2 gt3, and knowing Sebring very well, my impressions will come later today when I have some time to post

Driving to Sebring you immediately feel you are on a GT car, firm , controlled, road and mechanical noise present, but still enjoy good music and talking on Bluetooth having a conversation, etc, There is improvement compared to 991.2 gt3, not huge but its there, even my wife point that out.
Once on the track:
first session , learning laps i already match my times with 991.2, pretty impressive how it handles all the surfaces irregularities that make Sebring famous. For people that knows Sebring well, exit from turn 1 and turn 17, this car took them much better , more planted , less steering, more confident inspiring, very happy about that.
Brakes (Steel) showed a lot of power, more than 991.2, pedal feel firmer ( what i like), i need more time to refine braking points and trail braking but impressive performance.
Steering is excellent , honestly i didnt find great differences with previous model.
Power: kind of same acceleration out of corners, small improvement, top speed better some how (maybe confidence), was doing 155 at the end of main straight.
Cornering: Amazing, Pulled 1.55 g (on track precision app) and G force measurement on the car, no understeer at all, ( Used to get alot of it on turn 11 and 16), At Bishops with full downforce (front and rear) i was able to pull 117 mph, and there is plenty of room for more ( I probably need more ***** next time)( new car , i hope you understand)
Downforce: I started with street set up and you already feel the difference with previous car, but also maybe the more mechanical grip this car has. I changed for full downforce for Sunday sessions, i realized i found no huge difference but i know you need bigger commitment on high speed turn to see the difference.
Overall it feels like a better gt3 for sure, is it at the level of a RS?, I think the RS more mechanical grip gives you more confidence, maybe after more driving i can answer that question better
I was lapping with friends on 991.2 RS, and i was not faster, but there were not faster either, same pace,
The difference between Normal setting driving and Track mode driving its huge, much more than before, thats probably why people think its more tamed , but rest assure that when it is in track mode , it is a freaking beast!!!!
Im probably forgetting a lot of details, more will come
Hope it was a helpful review

Agree to disagree. You wouldn't care about these options while hot lapping a circuit but for the other 95-99% of the miles/time you're experiencing the car off the track, those items add tremendously to the experience...at least to those who care to spend the time and money optioning their car that way. Best of both worlds

no videos, I use the track precision app and the camera in the phone
unfortunately my camera holder was failing during the sessions
and I don’t know how to transfer a video from the app to the actual phone
will try something different next time (November PCA instructor weekend )

Default Goodyear tires

Forgot to mention tires
my previous gt3 came with Michelin cup2, I love them
i was disappointed when I found out my car came with Goodyears, I said ok let give them a try
i read they need slow warm ups, that’s what I did ( 2 laps at Sebring) , started at 25/27, once they reach 29/31, they stayed like that for the entire section, ( we had 30 mins sessions this time), they felt awesome, they didn’t overheat like it did happen with cup 2, I was very positively surprised , incredible grip.
goodyear was not a disappointment at all !!
would love to hear opinions from other drivers
thks
