I’ve been anticipating this model for a while, but I now wonder what’s the point of such a model. The whole raison d’ètre of the RS is the aero and track adjustments on the steering wheel. Without the wing, I don’t see the point of the track features. And without either, I don’t see the point of the ST compared to the Touring. I guess maybe 4.2L and Manual and cool optics and limited production.

 

There are people who just like limited edition cars for whatever reason and when one shows up they tend to be snapped up quickly. I am not personally interested in something because it is rare, but I understand that this attracts collectors rather than people who want to thrash the thing on the road. Nothing wrong with it, just not my bag. There is a big market for cars that have tiny mileages and they fetch premiums. I have never bothered and my cars get the mileages they get. Bad for resale but good for the experience.

 

 

Definitely turbo engine sounds. Impressed they managed to hide the intercooler outlets inside the stock 3RS body work
