[QUOTE=Oldmxnut;17749529]So Black or GT Silver.. ?

:

i think that the silver and red is a classic and very good combo, but how about combining them? jetblack on red? a friend had it on a 992 C4S it looked great.

Can't wait for this one!!!! PTS won't show on UK configuator so I can't even see it online. Hoping the combo works as it feels a bit of a risk.
That will look great. I would go darker personally... cognac or cohiba interior

Unfortunately not an option in the UK.

I'd agree....I believe the browns are Mojave Beige, Cognac and Cohiba. I have Mojave in my Cayenne, it's nice but doesn't have a richness to it. You'll get more of that with Cognac and finally Cohiba.

I was going to spec Irish w/Cognac or Cohiba.

Is UK not getting the additional colours? NA was delayed until Nov end from Sept.

The black with that interior looks great.

GT Silver - Not sure on the combination you have with paint, wheels and leather. I'm a fan of red leathers. I have natural red on a 997.2 and had bordeaux on 718 spyder. Much preferred natural red, brighter colour. Bordeaux is darker, well like a bordeaux. Lipstick red could be good.

I'm pretty sure my build will have locked by then. I would have chosen cognac, anything I can do?

Ask your salesman. He likely won't know and will need to check.

How do you know it's going to be avaliable? Nothing on configuator other than the normal option inc Mojave biege / black which is what I selected. I would really like to change if possible.

No.. for in the know mates only... Though will be an interesting market dynamic. 18 x 991.2 touring's in Aus market and I think about 30 odd 911Rs.. now bringing 25 x 992 70th anniversary tourings at $125K over touring price. Yet except for the paint you could spec the 70th anniversary pretty much.

Lipstick apparently coming late November ? But agree, if going red, may as well do properly. The GT silver and Bordeaux with wheels, was a bit of a copy of the boxter 25th anniversary. Wonder if Bordeaux suits GT silver and perhaps the brighter lipstick with the dolomite silver ..

Half the fun making up your mind.

Yes the list of optional colours was delayed from Sept to end of November. Lipstick is one of them. Now I don't know if UK market is following same approach.

Oh yes, the theme is the same as boxster 25th. Don't really like the look of that one.

I was originally building my 718 Spyder with GT Silver and Bordeaux but flipped to Carrara White Metallic and Bordeaux. Was underwhelmed with Bordeaux, probably because I kept comparing it to my natural red leather (on basalt black) which I much prefer.

It is half the fun, but all the stress.
