Annuities. The first 40 on this list have dividend yield over 10%:

If acquiring over time, would hope the share price decreases.

I know some debt is very good to have to leverage on appreciating assets etc (but that is also predicated on future asset inflation which is not guaranteed.

I switched from PenFed to APL...1.99% for every situation/term...up to 7 years, even on used, don't care about value apparently (e.g. increasing values of those older cars).

If you don't get the occasional margin call, you're not doing it right.

I used Mortgage Broker Leicester funding on mine, and they got it done, but mine was like 1/3 of the price. They told me equal credit would be another large recreational vehicle purchase, of which I had none. They want to see a good history on a smaller loan before a big one. They said I was problematic because I had no other similar recreational purchases, and they couldn't be confident in my payment opportunities. I'm probably going to try to refinance soon. Loan officers get discreet on the loan docs.

I ended up going through Chase and got 2.29% for 72 months

Porsche finance, do a lease, you terminate at any time.

ugh. Unless you have a small business or some special circumstance, Porsche leases in the US are awful. They quote me nearly 3x the rate of the credit union, and the residual sucked too.

cannot recommend Porsche finance

how does APL work with new car refinance? Just took in a lexus 2022 and was wondering does APL send you the check to then forward to the bank's original loan?

Any fees during the application process?

Penfed rates are higher as of may 2022. Yikes!!

I expect all GT buyers have a private client banking relationship. And most have a portfolio/securities backed line of credit. With interest rate uncertainty, I’d go with Chase also. Really nice discounts, 50-100 basis points, depending on your relationship and assets at Chase/JPM.

From a write off perspective has anyone leased their P-car with a large balloon payment lease, or one that you can prepay and then purchase the car outright? If so which leasing agency did you use?

I refinanced my "used" car, but I'd guess the process would be the same. They mailed the check to previous creditor. "If" there were any fees, they were minimal, but I did get GAAP, and life insurance with them, which bumped the payment about $60/mo.

I did the quick Chase auto qualifier - I have top tier credit and the best they would offer is 4.59%.

Are there rates more competitive when you actually apply? Or is Chase just not so competitive?

This is for a used loan. New rates are slightly better.
