Shark Blue in Real Life (showroom...)
My dealership let me know another dealership had a 992 Turbo S in Shark Blue come in. Thought I would stop by on Saturday and see a Shark Blue car in person. It's very close to Voodoo Blue, about one shade lighter when you see it in a showroom. It's very, very attractive and offers a decent value for the money vs. some of the PTS blues. I don't think it's changed my mind on the PTS blue I have on order with the GT3 Touring. However, it was something to consider before my lock date comes and I thought it would also be helpful for others with the same thoughts who are considering Shark Blue or other similar blues. More than happy to answer any questions and I snapped a few more shots that I can post if people are interested.
I lightened up the photo as I was taking the picture. This is about as true to real life as I could manage.
Native picture as a comparison, I took this shot a few seconds before I messed with the exposure.

Love the painted slats over the rear decklid, very nice touch. SB almost looks better on the Turbo S!

Such a fantastic color. I love it with the Sports design package in high gloss black. I like that they tied in the exterior with yellow seat belts.

I believe Porsche's Voodoo Blue is actually Toyota's Voodoo Blue so it should be the same. I've seen a GT3 in Voodoo Blue and aside from comparing a Toyota Voodoo Blue side by side with Porsche, they look exactly the same to me. From everything that I've read and seen, Shark Blue is supposed to be one shade lighter than Voodoo Blue.

It is a very popular Toyota color and as far as I know, it's only available on their Pro product lines for Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner. Don't know if it's available on the Sequoia. I wouldn't describe it as "dark" per say but rather a very saturated bright blue that is on the darker/medium side of the spectrum. Not dark like Gentian Blue or Dark Sea Blue.

Thanks for the photos! I have one of these (TTS) hopefully coming in January - can't wait, the more I see it, the more I made the right choice.

Looks great. Wondering if a yellow stitch and yellow gauges should have been done on this build. Really wish Porsche would carry over the shark blue stitch and seatbelts from the GT3 into the TTS.

[QUOTE=Rocket_boy;17655420]Yeah - yellow gauges would have been a good touch. Actually the speed blue stitching is not as far off as I thought it was and looks good. The yellow belts kinda breaks it up a bit - which I like. Hmmm, could be some changes coming for me.
Yeah. Could be the pictures, but the blue is a little bit more subtle. The yellow I think would have a nice pop, and I think I will go with that.

I really liked the yellow belts and the Speed Blue stitching was a very nice compliment.
