someone at Porsche is getting his/her *** reamed for this "small oversight". I can only imagine how embarrassing it is for them to be in this position, since these noise regulations have likely been in place for many years. LOL

Porsche caught wind & made sure the car wouldn’t pass regs. They saw the smug look on his face enjoying that 6-speed GT sport manual transmission & decided they ain’t havin that!!

The fact that the 992 GT3 manual failed a noise test (too much noise presumably) makes me more anxious to get mine (with a manual gearbox)

i understand the valves on the exhaust aren’t a vacuum on/off but are now electrically controlled.

Seems they may have tuned the exhaust to ride right up to the noise limit of the new regs for a much better sound.

Thinking you could get the same sound by running the PDK in sport/track mode and forcing the shifts via the paddles or shifter.
