Go see what a 1986 Lamborghini Countach sells for.

Given the nightmare that is 992 GT3 allocations, I have been thinking about Evo RWD as well. Think it’s great value, particularly if optioned lightly, although my concern is on track reliability, performance and fun factor compared to GT3 (if I track it 2-3 weekends a yr).
Question on sound: does anyone have a sense for how loud Evo is both inside the cabin and outside exhaust note compared to 991 GT3? Is Evo actually louder? I have heard a lot about how good Evo sounds, but wondering how the volume compares to GT3.

A 5 year old Lamborghini is not an outdated car. Show me a Lamborghini that still does not look futuristic even going back to the Countach. It is a timeless and futuristic otherworldly design in all models. Either you are being sarcastic or have something against the brand but this could not be farther from the truth my friend!

i drove in September the Huracan EVO and even the Huracan Super Trofeo in Imola. Will leave the Trofeo out of context because is another league, but the EVO feels like a very fast road car unlike my 997 GT3 that feels like a race car that is road legal.
The steering feels soft, the brakes faded after 5 hard laps and i was sure faster than my 997 of course, but the feeling is not on par to that of the GT3!
Will see what the 992 will be but i belive that i will be as fast as the Huracan if not faster....with the feeling

Hard to beat a Manual /NA / 9000 rpm- but have had a couple
Hard to beat a V10 / NA with looks to kill. No matter how much I love Porsches not one has ever appeared better looking than the Lambo to me.
Neither is better, in my view, for street driving. Today I would take the V10 to spice things up but that is only because I have had the Porsche experience already. But - still waiting for news and details on the GT4RS. If they give it a serious power plant it certainly will be interesting because I have always found the GT4 better looking than the GT3

For sure the Lambo is more WOW looking! But i prefer the way a car drives being still only 33 years old and i can push it. Maybe when i will be 60 i will choose the Lambo and the big V10...oh well...in 30 years we will drive a ****ty electric..so GT3 for me

No, i didn't say that is bad on track but gives less feeling than the GT3's. You could drive the Huracan at Imola with only 2 fingers on the wheel without a problem, with the GT3's i could not do the same for example!
Also the brake to me is too much assisted you need to push more on the Porsche and this gives much more infos on what the car is doing.
overall on track i like the Porsche more, but maybe is my personal preference! Don't want to speak for everybody.

I know I'm biased, but had to add for consideration. I don't think there is a chance in hell this is going to look outdated in 5 years much less 20 years.
I should add this car is already 3 years old.
