488 is 225K. GT2RS is not.

Quick is acceleration. Fast is top speed.

Tesla plaid plaid iron man plus, TTS, 720S etc etc

Modern high performance cars are tire limited in terms of off the line acceleration to around 2.5s 0-62mph

If you want to trade for softer looks go for the 992 touring or perhaps 991.2 touring (with much cleaner lines)

You shouldn't have any trouble moving a 991.2 series RS on to a good home. But before you do that, take it to a track and experience what it can do.................

About 9 months.. i believe. And though im not switching for warranty reasons... it always a peace of mind to know i will be covered for longer with the new car.

👍🏼🤞🏼..... i have been on numerous tracks with the RS.... in California. I am very familiar with what a beast it is....plus thousands of miles of canyon driving. This move is strictly for esthetic reasons.. nothing else. Not a big fan of the touring... and its not even an option in USA yet from what i see on the configuration site. To me the 992 GT3, at least in pictures/videos, strikes the right balance between sportiness and softer look.

Nice clean looking car - ditch the yellow seat belts, the silver ones will look better if you can get them.

Yes silver is available.
But to me , yellow, its an accent color that brings: 1- a color in the B&W Scheme .. and 2- works with the yellow calipers.
But for sure will be pondering more.
I have until June 16 to make changes .

I agree, stick to yellow, but I would also do custom deviated yellow stitching inside as well. I'm a yellow fan though. haha.

Im considering ordering a 992 GT3 to replace my 991.2 GT3 RS .
Reason: the less aggressive look mainly.
I drive my car very often and the RS in the city is a little too ‘ look at me’ and extreme. ( canyons and track no problem)
Whereas the new GT3 has a softer look yet still sporty enough!

My main concern is acceleration !
991.2 GT3 RS’s acceleration, in my opinion , is its least exciting aspect and kind of borderline for a car of that caliber.
The 992GT3 is rated even a bit slower ( i think by 0.2 sec 0-60)
Anyone out there who can verify how 992 GT3’s acceleration compares to the 991.2RS in real world practice beyond numbers on paper.

Or anyone who has had hands-on experience with both 991.2 GT3 and the RS?
Is there enough of a difference to make this a deal breaker in your opinions?

This is the only point that is holding me back from pulling the trigger.

Would truly appreciate your inputs and insights!
Cheers
🙏🤙
I don't know man, you could make the switch if you love the 992 GT3 interior, but in the RS you get that wide body with the side intakes and the massive wing for the extra downforce. You also get that titanium exhaust and revised ECU mapping...an RS is just awesome.

Both 992 and 991.2 RS have same peak torque so I don't think acceleration will be much of a difference, if any.

Now steering feel could be another matter; the new 992 suspension just may give you some jollies.

I saw a lizard 991.2 RS Weissach in chicagoland the other day, love the look...kicking myself I didn't bite on one a year ago but I still love my TTS.

All personal preference of course but I think the 992 GT3 with it's swan neck wing and massive diffuser is as aggressive looking as the 991.2RS. Interested in what the touring brings.
