Alex,

Can you please elaborate on this? I've driven a 991 Turbo and it was powerful and quick, but also was laggy (noticeable to me), heavy, and soulless (IMHO). I have not yet driven a 992 Turbo, but I suppose I expected a similar car, just with more boost.

What can you tell us about how it feels different compared to the previous generation and what they have done to it from a driving experience perspective?

Thank you, and thanks for the info. Since you're one of the first potentials, I hope you'll share as you find out more.

Agreed- when they were described, I thought it strange that it would go from yellow to a more subtle blue for the warning - Didn't realize it would strobe like that. Very cool and effective.

Looks like they start flashing at about 8800. I wonder if they start flashing red as the tac gets to 9000.

Don’t think so - you get the stuttering of the rev limiter for that...

that doesn't leave a lot of time to appreciate them does it?

ok, so in good humored one-upmanship, I *parked* my GT3 at Frankfurt airport for 2 wks (secure parking 25eu/day) and came back and did another bunch of track days!

Yeah, by buddy did that with his Touring. Actually had 3 total trips (left car on continent for 90 day limit - it used to be longer...)

I thought the limit was 6mnths or 6k miles? - did that change? (not that I would leave a car there *that* long)

I also think you need to apriori request an extension to the insurance coverage that PAG provides w/Euro Delivery accordingly...

I think it was a year at some point, been shrinking steadily (think it’s 90 days now). Registration and insurance only free for 16 days and can be extended in chunks for additional cost...
