When will 992 GT3 Allocations be issued to Dealers for build?

smiles11 - You recently called all of those who favor the 991 gear shifter "curmudgeons" and when I called you out on that, you followed that up by calling me a "curmudgeon." Who, pray tell, is tearing down who? Please find one post in which I have criticized anything you have said (other than posts attacking me). I honestly skip over your posts and you should do the same with me, going forward. And I am still happy to forward you those tables of contents for 000. I think most who know me on RL know me as a reasonable guy who tries to be helpful. That you take issue with my posts is your problem, not mine and not anyone else's. If you continue to troll me, you will continue to hear back from me. Now, let's get back to talking about 911s. Thanks.

Holly cow! What a couple of drama queens. You two CA boys need to hug it out. I have so many Marriott points, I can't use them in my lifetime. I'd be more than happy to get you guys a room. Just let me know location and check-in date. Merry New Year on me.

Usa cars will trail EU/UK cars by a while. Months and months. Don't get ahead of yourself jostling- lots of people drop off the wait list or jump ship because they are being told to wait and get themselves beheaded on an amg gtr instead. Just find the right person at the store and make sure you know EXACTLY what you want. GM's and Sales Managers would rather deal with nice people who are decisive...
In regards to PTS...you really have to be with a dealer that knows how to work that process as it is not simple. Exclusive only has so much capacity and it's filled up quickly. They make standard colors with restricted options first, then they open pts window once some cars are in showrooms.
Expect to get (as in drive home to your house) cars 6-12 months after speccing it. Spec visibility for USA is a while from now.

The 718 GT4 was officially announced by Porsche on June 17, 2019. Configurators for the EU markets went live about 1 month later. The EU started getting their first 718 GT4 deliveries in fall 2019. Around that same time that the first EU buyers started getting their cars delivered in the fall of 2019, the US configurator went on line. IIRC, the first US GT4 deliveries started in Feb or early March 2020. So it was about 8 months from the official 718 GT4 product announcement until the very first US customers started taking delivery of their cars.
From the day I put a deposit down (which was day the official product announcement was released), until I got my build allocation from a dealer and placed my order was about 1 year. From the day that I submitted my build order for my allocation to delivery day was about 4 months.
Also note that when the 992 GT3 EU configurators start coming online, that will not necessarily be representative of the standard equipment or pricing that the US cars will get. Porsche North America tends to have a lot of things that are a la carte options in EU markets as standard in the North American market. For example, on the GT4, Cruise Control is standard on a US car, but an extra cost option in most EU markets.

Maybe the same with the 2022 GT3.
I know what I want. Give me a winged 6-speed, buckets and steel brakes. A 1st quarter 2022 delivery would be perfect for me as well.

Pretty similar here, winged 6 speed but I might hit PCCB since I’ll autocross here and there but track less. What’s the rationale for going with steel brakes?
I’m hoping to get mine December-January or so. My dealer says it’s doable. It’s going to be a restless year

So I just got back from a visit to a smaller dealership in Florida this afternoon while on vacation. Talked to the Sales Manager and asked about timing of reveal and if they knew when their allocations would be given to them by PCNA. The first thing they said was not to listen to some guy named SToronto. lol.
They were mum on reveal timing but said they were expecting allocations no earlier than third quarter 2021. That means build months in July, Aug, Sept with deliveries in the US in early fall. That's a bummer for me but lines up with what others have stated above.
Ironically, they said to watch the forums for the latest info......... LMAO. (I got that part down!)
They only had two people on the list to get a 992 GT3. They said it was a $5k deposit to be #3. I thought about it but I'm already #1 on the list at my local dealership and probably #10+ at another dealership where I bought my other two Porsches.

$5k "deposit" or $5k as the first payment toward an ADM? Guess time will tell...
