When will 992 GT3 Allocations be issued to Dealers for build?

First UK cars being delivered in March with Tourings in April.
4 seat touring with a titanium exhaust is my choice, assuming I can have back seats.

The Touring is not announced until May and does not enter production until July.

Car does not enter production until March so highly unlikely to make its way to the U.K. in the same month. And typically, the first batch of cars stay with Porsche for the driving schools and journalist test cars.

Interestingly, the U.K. allocations have historically been early in the model cycle. For the 991 GT3, U.K. RHD cars were in the early batches. But you know what, I would not take a first build car if I was offered one. I would let them build them for a few months first. Gremlins!

My dealer said the timeline isn’t known and there are no allocations yet, nothing been released information wise either. They sit on the Porsche dealer board and are very transparent, so if they don’t know then I find it hard to believe another dealer does

I don't think anybody will know anything until the announcement date. Then I am not sure how long after that point that the dealerships will be given allocations. Hopefully right away.

I also asked how easily the wing can be removed as I might go winged to get a car early. 3 pedals and back seats is all i care about. No wing is even better.
I haven't been able to get confirmation on back seats but have asked around.

Here’s a cliche drive-by question, from a relative newbie, for you guys:
I want a 992 PTS gt3 touring, I’d like it by the middle of 2022. I am located in south FL USA with zero history at any Porsche dealer. What chance in hell do I have at getting this done? How do I know I’ve got a live one on the line? In my experience with other makes, and other products (watches), many dealers are quick to take a deposit but few are able to execute.
