Dude, if Spike says it's a 992 GT3....it IS!

maybe so, but it *is* missing the telltale differences between previous generation RS and base GT3 models, to wit: aero over the front wheels and the "turbo" side-intake vents ... its not an RS!

If these uprights are somehow removable with a few screws like on current RS, this little duckbill will look so badass compared to the Touring.

Picture 1 has one size wing, 2 and 4 the same - taller - and 3, smallest of them all.

It almost seems like GT3, RS or Cup, Touring, RS or Cup.

Since the Cup is the first to be released, that would be most likely for the tall winged, time wise, but then, we’re on the street so RS perhaps more likely still.

No, I'm fine with it too. The GT3 design, and much of Porsche design, has always been more of "form following function". I've never understood the complaining about elements like these, I mean that's the whole point.

Wonder what the new month long lockdown in Germany will do the planned release/reveal date of the 992 GT3.

Good question. Its been delayed once already...but then again...next year is a packed year with a new model announcement almost every month and they are keen to get them out because the model cycle for the 992.1 is rapidly diminishing.

Not GT3 question, but any idea if the raised 911 photos is really a safari 911 variant?

I have already mentioned in another thread that it really is...but you won't see it for at least 2 years.
