They just need to reverse the hood treatment with the WP option - have the exposed carbon emanate from the hood vents to the rear of the hood and leave the rest painted.

I suspect they’re going to see a lower uptake on WP option with the current configuration, especially now that they’re offering an intermediate wheel option.

 

The only thing I like from the WP are the magnesium paddles. The rest is worthless to me.

 

It was tricky to keep the magnetic paddles for WP.

 

Interesting and what looks like a different shoulder to the Trofeo R.........so hopefully significant progress.

If that TW is correct and assuming a modern, high-performance radial structure - the new tire should be ~ 2ms quicker through a 75m radius corner or about 1s per minute quicker than CUP2R. Lots of assumptions there

weather was stormy this week. today it looks perfect.

don‘t know how the grip level will be after a rainy week.

 

Manthey Racing have the track booked 21st Sept.............plus ADAC 1000 17th/18th, which likely means testing and set up on 16th Sept............which is today. So I think today is highly unlikely, but 21st a strong possibility and gels with other timing e.g. Silverstone event.

 

Strange that they aren’t using a WP car for the record attempt.
