Interesting since they said the 4.0 in the 718 was based, developed from the 3.0T found in the 911.

Don't care. The engine does fit but they don't see the business case for it. Pretty clear.

That makes no sense - the 4L in the 718 is the bored and stroked 3L 9A2 from the 991.2/992.1.........of course it fits.

Sometimes the intake (designed to fit when turned around 180°) can cause fitment problems, but there should be no fitment issues caused by the short block.

It’s possible that it may not fit with zero changes, but it’s possible to fit with some alterations.
