Default SOUL | GT2 RS Exhaust Suite

Soul Performance Products is proud to offer exhaust solutions for the 991 GT2 RS! Every component is built in house and backed by a Lifetime Warranty including track use. With components in stock or with less than a week ETA to ship, we're ready to enhance your driving experience!

DEVELOPMENT: Our goal was to increase flow by optimizing or deleting the catalytic converters and and enlarging the outlets to the tips. Our replacement cat sections utilize larger valves than factory (76mm OD vs 67mm OD) and a larger outlet pipe (3" height, 2.4" width) allow for an increase in exhaust flow. Priority flow is increased to the tip outlet, increasing power and sound when the valves are open.

CAT BYPASS PIPES

When the factory valves open expect a roar from the engine and a very pronounced note from the turbos. With valves closed the factory muffler keeps volume and exhaust note to a reserved level. For full unadulterated turbo sound without the ECU controlling valve functionality automatically we recommend disconnecting the valves, installing a manual valve controller, or upgrading the factory muffler. Weighs 6.9 lbs / 3.1 kg less than factory exhaust components (11.4 lbs vs 18.3 lbs).


SPORT CATALYTIC CONVERTERS

Unleash an incredible exhaust note and intimidating turbo spool befitting of a 700 horsepower masterpiece by upgrading from 700 cell to 200 cell catalytic converters and optimizing exhaust flow through CAD designed and hand finished downpipes. Incorporating HJS HD 200 cell catalytic converters – designed to withstand extreme abuse – let you hear your turbos clear as day with no check engine lights or noxious fumes.

HJS HD CATALYSTS: The highest quality catalytic converters available, known for their industry leading flow and durability. They are efficient enough to meet strict EURO 4 emission standards while still allowing for an increase in flow – all without a check engine light. The HD design uses premium triple foil winding for maximum strength. The brazing stripe is an extra feature in the interest of durability – it prevents the core from moving or experiencing any damage from sustained high horsepower abuse. We use a large and appropriately sized catalyst to allow for maximum gains – no compromises here!

When a 700 horsepower Porsche presents itself – you have to try out straight pipes! Forgoing the ECU controlled valves allows for a smoother, less abrupt exhaust experience – intense notes from the turbo at all times and a bold roar from the 3.8L engine. Loud, but manageable, the turbos do a great job of mitigating drone during cruising but your right foot can summon a storm at your command. 5″ to 3.5″ piping from turbos to tips allows for great flow and an even greater sound!
CONSTRUCTION: Each component is made in-house by our fabrication team from mandrel bent, .065″ wall, T304L stainless steel tubing and CNC cut flanges. All welds are back purged for increased longevity under the most extreme conditions.

BOLT ON AND GO: Each exhaust is built and tested in a thick gauge aluminum fixture (which prevents warping) to ensure perfect fitment. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: We have a no excuses customer service policy. We will do everything in our power to make you happy and stand behind our Lifetime Warranty and Fitment Guarantee.

LITTLE TO NO LEAD TIMES: We try to keep our products in stock at all times. If we can’t meet that due to demand, it is typically only a few days turnaround with little exception.

LIFETIME WARRANTY: We expect our products to have the snot beat out of them for their lifetime, including track use. That’s what these cars are meant to do. Therefore, we offer a Lifetime Warranty including track use on all of our products. The only exceptions are circumstances outside of our control like going over a speed bump at 90mph or hitting a wall at the track. However, we will work outside of warranty situations like these for a fair resolution for all involved.

I love the idea of the sport cat/competition race pipes. This is exactly what I said you should offer for the Turbo about a year ago. See my post Soul Turbo Exhaust Suite You didn't seem interested at the time, but I am glad you came up with this. Would you offer something like this for the Turbo?

Thank you! There is a surprising amount of variance between cars with the straight pipes coming out. The prototype set we built lined up differently with the second vehicle we sold that same set to. They were very loud and the interior drone was high enough to where we questioned if it is worth compromising our ideals in terms of fitment and sound quality by offering it. The GT2 RS will be loud but it is much more manageable and fitment is perfect.

Thanks for the response Mike. I just assumed the there wouldn't be too much difference with sound between the GT2RS and Turbo.

Don't get me wrong, it's still very loud. It's one of those products that sometimes it sounds like a great idea and you think you can handle the volume, but the reality is it's just too loud for the average enthusiast. For someone chasing an extreme presence and maximum power, it's viable. We were asked to build it by a shop and as we can guarantee fitment, we brought it to life.

I may be biased since that is my car that was featured in the article but The sport cat converters With the custom downpipe’s is an incredible set up. The sound with the Valves open is just insane.It is linear and progressive as the RPMs climb which accentuates the monsterous power that this beast unleashes. With a let off of the throttle the wailing sirens of spooling turbos come to life. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked in the rearview mirror expecting the law to be on my butt. It is that pronounced.The team at Soul performance have actually nailed this set up. It’s a must-have for any 2RS owner. And I forgot that there is one more little caveat. Added horsepower. As if this beast even needs it. Can’t wait for the weather to break sothat I could test it out on the track next month. I’ll be sure to wear my hans device.And my depends

I'm impressed with a Soul stuff; good work! I hate to bring this up, but Dundon does a ton of research to maximize performance without any tuning. Just wondering, how does Soul Porsche exhaust compare to Dundon? Is it fairly similar?
