2016 GTS OBDII location
hello everyone,
Appreciate all of the info everyone here shares. I'm looking into buying a 2016 GTS, and when I went to look at the car, I was looking to plug in my durametric but I couldn't find the obdii plug in the fuse box - there was hole where I normally found it in my 2015 991. Then I saw it was under the dash. Is this the location of where it should be for a 16 GTS? Or perhaps did prior owner move it? Any concern if it was moved? This is a CPO car from a dealer.
Thank you all in advance for your feedback

If you sit in the car, it is located above your left ankle/lower shin. I have never seen any car have it in a different spot than under the dash in approximately that location.

Recall there is another thread on this topic, apparently the ODBII port is in different locations depending on model year... my 2015 GTS has the port at the bottom of the fuse panel as described but it is under the dash in 2016 models. Strange but true.

Thank you falco1098 and vise! I did see a thread in the GT4 section. I guess that applies all across the board. Appreciate the quick responses ... i was about to reconsider this purchase up until now!
Very odd that Porsche made these minor changes in the same gen
