No rear yet as PSE will be hard to beat. Non-PSE is so mild that we HAVE to do something about it.

Today, it happened. CEL! Maybe driven 100 miles with no light and then POW.

Any plan in the works for a header, catalytic combo for the 991.2 with PSE?

You had a good run. Are you able to clear the code? Often with the CBP the CEL can come and go.

Unfortunately we have no plans for headers in the near future. There's a wide range of options available already and we have a deep list of Porsche R&D applications on our plate for 2019.

Thank you! Here's our Modular Competition Exhaust from headers back - with valves!

What's the ETA on the 991.2 non-PSE exhaust? Are you guys going to be at the Porsche-only swap meet on April 20th in Hershey?

We have the Non-PSE in for development as we speak. I expect we will have the design finalized in early April and have everything in place to begin production by the end of April. Yes, we will be present at Hershey and it would be great to see you there

I will tell you this, I have no affiliation with Soul. The cat bypass pipes make the car come alive. It is noticeably faster and the sound is how it should be. Its amazing and well worth the price. LOVE love love it. (dont like the CEL, though... lol)

You clear the code with a compatible OBD2 scan tool.

Or...

How much louder are the bypass pipes compared to the 200 cell? Also, I'm located in NJ, so I assume smog may be a concern? (been a while since I've gone for an inspection)

There is a noticeable difference. The Sport Cats add a good amount of character but if you lay off the gas the car calms down. The Cat Bypass Pipes make themselves known with valves open, but do quiet down when the valves are closed. For non-PSE cars, the SC will be quieter and only a mild upgrade in exhaust volume (as the factory exhaust is heavily muffled). CBP on non-PSE cars sound great! If you plan on upgrading the cat sections AND rear exhaust, sport cats may be the best choice if you won't have valves.

Me personally, I love the extra aggression and sharpness to the exhaust note of the CBP but I like my sports cars with the volume button all the way up. If you start the car early in the morning or in a garage, the extra volume of the CBP may be a factor to consider.

You would need to consider inspection, but also have a solution for the CEL that may arise. O2 spacers may not keep the CEL off, an ECU Tune is the only way but you would need to find a tuner who would set the emissions readiness monitors to pass.
