I have it on my .1 GTS and would buy it again. Makes the car more comfy on bumpy roads and more like a spacecraft when it corners. My 981 Spyder drives down the road; the 991 GTS inhales it. Only criticism is it makes the car very tyre-pressure sensitive. Make sure you fill to comfort pressure only.

Very helpful thread that has both pro's and con's.

Michael...I especially appreciate your insights. I know you've helped me in the 958 thread for my CTT a few years back.

I have one day to finalize my build before my 991.2 lock. In part due to your comment, I am NOT adding PDCC even though i spec'd the rear wheel steer.

^ My pleasure.. everyone has good insight and tbh you will not be disappointed. Either way you are getting a fantastic car. When building these machines we would all love to tick every box, but its just not feasible.

I've had 4 911's going back to 2010 (3 CPO and 1 off the lot) and I used to pass on cars because it didn't have this option or didn't have that option... for example, I was crazy for Burmester. It's great, but not worth passing on a great car otherwise. These cars are loud and if someone else ticked that box, awesome. If not, Bose works. I used to feel this was about PDCC. I am now in a 2017 C4S and the ride is great. Just as good as my 13 C4S with PDCC... this my experience and opinion.

My point, I guess is that if you prefer full leather, get it. If you prefer, PDK don't forget the SC. But we know there is no such thing as a "fully loaded" 911 so it's all about choices and I chose full leather, bose, premium pack plus, rear wiper, SC, PDK, exhaust, etc. for my inbound car. PDCC is not on the list... I couldn't have it all and had to draw the line....

Now for my Cayenne, PDCC is a very good option to have...

I actually don't like the feeling of it, I prefer to feel the car lean (a literally HAIR nowadays anyways) and I think the regular ride is fine without having to do anything to it. If it was 1000 maybe, at 3.2k...pass. I ordered it for my mothers 4s and drive that car all the time, so I've spent hours in a car with it, and then hours in my GTS4, and otherwise pretty much every other non turbo porsche I've had without it.

A lot depends on your driving style and what types of movement you like to feel.

For me, I prefer to feel a small amount of roll (and there is only a tiny amount of roll with PASM/SPASM) as it tells me where the contact patches are.

Thus I went for RAS without PDCC. In my view the "game changer" is RAS.

My C4S 991.1 has PDCC and SPASM.

It's the 1st car that I'm not looking to upgrade some part of the suspension to make it drive/ride better.

So I'm all for it.

Drove a 991.2 w/o PDCC which made me think PDCC is a must have on my next one.

Agree. I do not like the feel of the car and, for me, owning a 911 is all about the "feel". When driving quickly, I cannot "read" the car as well as I can without it. For example, I find that a PDCC car will let go without anywhere near as much warning. IMHO, A 991 without PDCC is better 911.

Have it on my SPASM C2S and I'd spec it again, though it is quite pricey.

You get a GTS for handling. May as well get PDCC for the incremental benefit, even if your car never sees any track time. It's the only thing I miss having in my car.

I don't have PDCC but am thinking of the alternative - DSC
