Pete: saw your car (I think) driving down Divisadero and Sacramento a few months back and it left a big impression on me. Great and amazing color scheme! I’m decided now for my next car...

It takes guts to rock purple, but there are a fair few purple 911s that are writ large in my memory...
Nice cars, both. Congrats!

it was a base carerra, silver wheels and pccb. Was across the street so couldn’t tell clearly. Does that narrow it down?

If it was a green 991.2 Carrera with silver wheels and PCCB in the city, it was probably me—though it could've been either car, as the only major difference between the cars is metallic green on a brown interior vs non-metallic green on black.

wow that’s great! How do you decide which car to drive when?? Wish I knew which car it was because I’m deciding between Brewster and Oak for next car. Post up some pics for us poor souls deprived of the green spectrum!

You can find pics of the Oak Green car in posts #187 and #192 of this thread (and elsewhere on RL, though a Google Image search for "oak green 991.2 rennlist.com might be a better search than this engine). Pics of the Brewster Green car are in post #250 above, and maybe a few elsewhere on here on RL. Fwiw, having lived with both, I was surprised by how much attention Oak Green drew, with comments and people asking me to roll my windows down, etc. Wasn't prepared for that, as the color wasn't that wild in my view—and not that far off of a color Honda offers on the HRV or whatever that thing is. It's easier to live with in terms of keep the car clean, too. But I prefer Brewster as a green, and while it looks more special/unusual to me, it seems to go through the world without making much of a ripple. It gets dirty quick, but I am also finding that I kind of like the way the car looks older when it's dirty—especially when it's filthy after a storm. YMMV.
Taking a quick run through this thread to find the posts above, I am reminded at just how many 991.2s have been built in great colors. Some of the blues and greens in this thread are just fabulous…

So I just found Rennbow, it is a project from the PCA and is really incredible. They cover all the colors and have photos of them. The address is https://www.rennbow.org/colorwiki
