what type of bike is it? though i havent tried it, i think the front wheel should fit in the trunk space, if so, lay a blanket in the back and lay the remainder of the bike back there, should be OK for a shortish drive at least

Call an uber and have him follow you with the bike. I wouldn't trust anything like that "inside" the car. One emergency braking or manoeuvre to avoid something and you're bound to damage your precious car.

just my 2 cents.

I can't vouch for a 991, but I watched a friend frequently put his mountain bike or road bike in his Cayman (both wheels in the frunk, frame with lots of towels under the hatch. I will bet you can do it, maybe with stem loosened and bars twisted 90 degrees.

As for damage to a precious car, some of us have bikes worth almost (or more than) 5 figures--not something to drop off with Uber.

Update(in case anyone searches this in the future) with enough blankets it will safely fit.

With both wheels removed the frame is 44" wide. I wrapped the gears in blankets and the bike fit across the back.

if you need to close the top you probably need to lower or remove the seat

Good job. I have been doing something similar in a two seater for ten years. It works, but inevitably you will grease and gouge the furniture no matter how careful you are.

Or get one of these:

I have the Break-away cross frame. The entire bike can fit in the frunk. (Or easily in the back seat area.)

I've put my wife's folding bike in the back of my cab a few times. With blankets, of course, and the top down.
