I would NOT order parts and have them installed after delivery.
Tacky, you want the buld to come direct from Porsche.
The process is both artistic and personal.
Use the 3D config a much as possible. I had my 2013 Mexico Blue Boxster interior photoshopped to allow me to view what i wanted and ordered.
Don't waste your time or anyone else's if you can't stand the cost or time.
Your SA will probably have never ordered an Exclusive order so be prepared for frustration.-Richard

New for 2018, you can order the Black Bordeaux interior and add black leather seat inserts.

I wanted this for my 2017 build but it was only a CXX option and the cost was a bit crazy...

A very nice look. I might have done that for my 2017 had it been available. Do you know if you can also use black alcantara inserts?

This photo might have slightly better color rendition.

Too bad the black red is not available in natural leather like expresso/cognac. I wonder if you could LTS two tone black natural and Carrera red natural. With the free stitching for LTS the cost would probably be a wash if you could do it.

I should say these all look awesome. If I was getting a white/black/silver/grey I would be all about black/red two tone.

Yes. I found out about that after my order locked. That combo was on the approved LTS list at the time. Was p1$$ed. Would have done it in an instant.

why do those seats with the black inserts not have perforations in them? I feel like all the seats 18 way plus (which they seem to be) have perforations. If you don't get heating and ventilation is it then a solid leather?

One other question.
1Gunner, love those pics and really like that combo Is that the carbon fiber interior or the painted interior?
can anyone post a pic of or comment on what the painted interior pac looks like?
Is it just paint on the standard aluminum or is it like a gloss black texture or what? Thanks.

I saw some texture that I thought may have been perforations, but it looked much smaller than the ones in the seats I remember from my recent test drive.

thanks for adding the rear seat pics. looks much better than the configurator made it seem.
regarding the bordeaux seats, anyone have any idea about risk of color transfer and wear? I think that may also make deviating the centers to black more appealing.

+1.

That is the only reason I ordered my car with it......I had to see it in person and it looks fantastic.

I too am headed toward a two-tone Black/Bordeaux option, with leather instead of the CF or Aluminum treatment—trying to keep the number of colors to a minimum. I am quite taken by the deviated leather seat inserts also

i’m leaning toward having the backs of the 18-way seats covered as well; one question, is there an option to get deviated stitching in the Bordeaux leather? I know the black leather comes with Bordeaux deviated stitching as part of the package.
