I've been using this app for over a year now, achieving the sound quality in the Bose system that I have been accustomed to for years (scooped mids, deep base, crisp highs).

While a good solution, it has its drawbacks:
-my only music source worth listening to is now my iPhone
-in "iPod" mode the PCM, by default, chooses iTunes, requiring that I go into the phone to start iAudiogate every time. This is also an issue when receiving a phone call, then hanging up => iTunes starts to play, not iAudioGate

Curious if anyone else uses this app and has possibly found some tricks to overcome the above mentioned drawbacks. I don't have ApplePlay. I'm also curious if anyone is running third party apps like this on the PCM through ApplePlay.

It is a shame that our sound system only has bass and treble controls. Even the addition of a midrange control would be useful. A full EQ (at least 10 band) would be even nicer.

I am very interested in trying this out.

Can you play Spotify or Pandora etc using this app, or it is only music you download into your phone?
Will it import your playlist from iTunes?

It doesn't appear to offer an interface to Spotify or Pandora. I simply use it sourcing my music from my iTunes library. It has a similar interface to iTunes (Playlists, Artists, Songs, Albums, Genres, Compilations and Composers).
