selling speakers from the van driving around was run by one of the Mafia families (from Chicago) all over North America. They were not stolen or even illegal. I was told it was a 100 million dollar a year business.

Was the van windowless and did it say 'Free Candy' on the side?

I was thinking about this same video too. I'm taking my 911 into Serbia and Bosnia in a couple of weeks and this crap freaks me out.
They said it was a projector so I guess it would fit.
What got me was they said they wanted to talk to me specifically because of the car. In the back of my mind I was thinking about this:

My suggestion to carry a weapon was a bit tongue-in-cheek; I realize it's not the right solution for everyone.

Love the Kimber. Off topic - Nearly 7500 posts between the two of you, and still not a member ? Too expensive ?

It is expensive. With over 2500 posts a year, it's obviously not useful. On average, that's 7 posts a day, every day of the year, for 2 years. I'm impressed that you've been able to push through. Despite the obvious lack of benefit.

Reminiscent of an experience I've had several times while driving my older 911's. Not TV salesmen, but hustler types offering to buy my cars hoping I have no idea what they're worth. A couple of times these people followed me for an extended period of time -- around multiple corners, into parking lots, etc -- and at night no less. In my city guns are illegal so I keep a Kimber pepper blaster in the map pocket. Had it in my left hand during these encounters. These people don't realize how much they freak people out with their antics.
