Hi,

We are trying to get the front bumper removed so i can install a Stinger in a 991.2
By the 991.1 you use a tool to pop out the headlights. I understand they changed this with the new 991.2
Does anybody know how to do it on the 991.2?

I know with the 991.2 the bumper needs to come off to remove the headlights.

On the 991.1 they could be removed without bumper removal.

The other details?? Not sure. I'm sure someone's posted about it. Maybe a quick Google search?

 

I already did that, but i can't find the part i'm looking for. What i'm the most curious about is the 2 black sliding clamps near the headlights. By the 991.1 you can slide them out when the headlights where removed. With the 991.2 i can't seem te pull them out? I already found all of the screws that are holding the bumper and loosened them. If i can figure out how to release those 2 clamps i think i am where i want to be. Already tried to pull them towards me with a hooked tool

I guess the bottom line to your original question is it looks like you don't need to remove the headlights to remove the bumper, just like STG said!

 

Thanks for the vid! Seems that i have to find a way to remove those clamps and thats it! We gonna have another go today
