We just arrived in London today and I am amazed by how much Londoners love their cars. I believe cars and vehicles cost ~50% more than in the USA. I'll take pics to update the post.

Most of the RR and Bentley's have Middle East or Russian Tags.... not many Ferrari/Lambo cause the roads suck so bad but same origin. Lots of oil money that wants to live their life away from war torn geographies in London.
Can only provide one data point: I live in London and love my cars.
Currently visiting San Diego and driving a rented Cadillac. It's extraordinary - sort of like piloting a large boat. I keep wanting the steering wheel to have little wooden bits sticking off it, and one has to plan to stop a considerable time in advance. Lovely and quiet on the freeway though...
^^^ ok so west bound done that journey, in bound far too many times, recognised the dealership which is on the northern side of the road
Fantastic city in the summer - the Museums are superb, Westminister Abbey is a must do and for something different try the the Churchill War Rooms near Downing St.
