He comments on his concern about going into 7th on the 4 to 5 shift in the .1 model but there is a lockout that prevents that from happening (probably the same as in the .2). Sounds like he was just trying to make a critical point for the sake of it but not true.

everytime a new 911 comes out it is "perfect" and the new model addresses all the flaws that never existed until marketing needed something shiny to propagate.

I don't like him either and I do not consider him any type of authority on cars whatsoever; however, if you simply take it for what it is (an enthusiast recording himself driving many cars), then I guess it provides entertainment to some.
