Ground Clearance - Carrera 2 vs 4/4s
Does anyone know if the ground clearance is the same on the Carrera 2 cars versus the Carrera 4 models? I have heard that the AWD cars are 20mm higher from one source, but that they are the same height from another. The Porsche specs don't provide ground clearance, but do show that the overall height of both cars is very close (although it seemed like the AWD drive models had more tire clearance between the tire and wheel well).
I ask because I live 1/2 mile up a dirt road in Northern New England would like to get as much ground clearance as I can.
Thank you in advance!

It's the same clearance for those models. Clearance is impacted by the suspension options. PASM lowers by 10mm and SPASM by another 10mm IIRC.
PASM is standard in all 991.2 cars including the C2/C4. SPASM is only available as an option in S models.
Optioning out the front sport fascia will reduce approach angle. You can always opt for the front lift though now with the 991.2s.

I believe the lift only clears the front from steep angles, so not sure how it will help your clearance issues on a dirt track...
I would say the 991.1 2 or 4 base without PASM and aerodynamic package will be the best you can do on that regard, isn't PASM standard in all .2 now?

1. Selecting sport or normal on PASM will not change the height of the car.
2. PASM is ALWAYS active. It is never off regardless of the selection. The user can only change the mode from sport to normal.
Yes. I answered that question up a couple posts.
