Default Will .1 Sport Techos fit my .2 C4S on order

Hey gang - For 2 years I've been pulling the switcheroo from our summer to winter rubber when the seasons change. Remount cost aside, it's pulling a number on the finish of my 20" S wheels on the 2015 C4. Now pulling the trigger on a 2018 C4S to replace our 2015, its time to bite the bullet on a dedicated set of winter wheels to swap myself.

Suncoast seems to still have some sport technos for the take, but it specifically referenced the fit through 2016. So....will they fit a widebody 991.2? Te price is right, and I like the easier-to-clean aspect of the technos, but need to ensure they will fit.

Thanks to all for the input.

Bummer to hear.

Was thinking when ever I step to the .2 I can use my stock pile of wheels.

Thanks RRated - for my own education, is it the rears that are problematic? Data for comparison:

991.2 S-wheels
Front - 8.5 x 20 49 mm
Rear - 11.5 x 20 56 mm

991.1 Sport Technos
Front: 9" x 20" 51 mm
Rear: 11.5" x 20" 48 mm

I'm asking b/c the fronts are awfully close. The price is great, and when called they say they'll fit...but it's a $2K+ mistake when they don't.

I'd suggest running the numbers through the wheel/tire comparison app called willtheyfit.com Here's a link: http://www.willtheyfit.com It provides both a nice summary of the most important numbers plus all of the details of how the fitment differs.

I went ahead and ran the fronts since they look like they may be the most likely to have a problem (the rears would just have a bit more outset as if you had added 8mm spacers). The summary says:

"Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 5.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 7.4mm more than before."
I guess the question ends up being if that is close enough to the strut to be a problem. You might be able to correct that with a spacer but then you'll have a pretty aggressive front offset, but it should be just about flush with the fender.

They fit without issues, I used spacers in the back other than that not a single issue

I have a 2017 C4S and they look brilliant

anyone have insight on the opposite issue. fitting .2 wheels to a .1

I ran the numbers and I got a 10mm 'closer to the strut' and 2mm poke out(not worried about this). can I make this work? do I need to shim these and if so, will they stick out too much?

"Poke 87.7mm 90.1mm Inset 191.7mm 202.1mm

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 10.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 2.3mm more than before."

Edit: I'm retracing my answer for the moment until I'm sure which wheel widths & offsets you are referring to, both front and rear, old and new. I want to make sure I don't mislead you.
When I ran the wheel size numbers that OP gave in reverse I don't come up with the numbers you show so I assume you must have different wheel widths or offsets in play.
