15K miles on my Carrera S and up popped a fault on the instrument panel that my Dynamic Engine Mounts needed attention. These come with the Sport Chrono package and stiffen the engine mounts for track work or aggressive cornering, and work off vibration sensors I'm told, so they are electrical.
They had to replace one mount, which apparently is fairly involved as the spoiler carrier has to come out of the car and the engine raised. They actually had one in stock - which very much surprised the Service Advisor since its not a frequent failure part. What surprised me is the cost if out of warranty - he said $ 1,800.
Yet one more reason to buy those extended warranties.

Was the failure message locked in even after multiple start/stops (i.e ignitions on/off) of the car? I have found that many of these electrical failures reset after a restart of the engine.
