Default Zaino-detail advice

I have a relative that swears by Zaino products for detailing his car (Corvette). Any thoughts on Zaino or other products?

It's big among the Corvette people. I use their leather products and they're very good.

I use Zaino since 1999. Not only is the product long lasting, Sal Zaino is a true car guy and answers the phone too. I spent 10 minute talking with the guy as if we were best friends.

I love it. Get the car wash, z2, z5, leather in bottle, tire dressing, gloss enhancer spray, final detailer, and clear seal

I love the Zaino products. I have switched to Blackfire recently for sealants and some other products but still use Zaino for leather care and tire dressing. Also love the Zaino clay bar.

I used Zaino (Z2 and Z5) for many years with great success. Then I switched to RejeX Wax for a few years. Now, I have OptiCoat Pro, and just use a quick detailer (Adams or Kenotech) after washing. No more waxing for me. In fact, last year I gave away my left-over Zaino Z2 and Z5 to Rennlisters, here.

I still love using Zaino Z10 Leather In A Bottle (just used some over the weekend) and have been doing so for about 10 years.

I agree with the about posts. Zaino is a great product, and Sal Zaino is a great businessman.

I've been using Zaino for many years. Once you have a base coat down, it is so fast to wash with their Z-7 and put a gloss coat on with Z-8, that I actually enjoy washing the car. Plus it smells great! Washed my Carrera last Friday, it was 45 degrees here, works perfect... try that with some other products... no bueno.

One side note about Zaino sealant products. Zaino only likes Zaino. So, no mixing & matching with other brands. And less is best. Don't over do any of the products.

+1 on Zaino. I've used it for many years on various Porsche. Less is truly better.
Reminds me- I still need to do the 991.2.

Yes and you can apply Z2 or Z5 with a Porter Cable. Spray pad with either gloss enhancer or final detail then put 2-3 drops max per panel. I actually prefer this way because that way I keep it thin and don't over apply. Gives better result too.

Sounds good, I think they have a starter kit with the various products. I will give them a try.

Another vote here. Used it for a decade on my Audi's. Leather in a bottle I also still use on all leather. I went to coatings on all my new cars so no wax anymore either but on the classics I just did a full Zaino order (did Z5 then Z2 with the ZFX mixed in) and went to town on them by hand with the Zaino and got rather incredible results in prep for a car show.
