Default Took my '17 991.2 C2S 7MT to the 1/4 mile drag strip...

Hey guys,

Thought some of you would like to see the timeslips from my trip to the drag strip today.

My car is a 991.2 C2S, 7MT 20 inch wheels, factory Perelli tires, 38 PSI F, 46 PSI R. I tried lauching with traction control on / sport on, traction control on / sport off, traction control off / sport on and traction control off / sport off . Always a/c off (except one run, I forgot to turn the a/c off)

Here are the timeslips. The track I went to was Island Dragway in Great Meadows NJ. IMHO, it was a good track - not too crowded, you could run as many times as you want. About 500 ft above sea level.

My best time was a 12.2 at 117.87 , trac off / sport on, launch at ~3400 RPM.

For the most part it appears you got better and better, so that's really well done! Thanks for sharing your results.

I will try launching it harder next time, even at 3400 RPM the rear tires spin with traction control off.

That's some great driving from a manual! 1.8X 60 foot and you're in the 11's.

Not to be a story topper. 991.2 C4S PDK(w/ high-flow cats & tune). I am just now realizing that I ran that time with 21" aftermarket wheels, wondering if the stock 20's would give a different result..?

Glad to see more timeslips for these cars!

11.1 is killer fast - the 1.6 60 FT might not be possible on the RWD models without slicks...

Quick Reply: Took my '17 991.2 C2S 7MT to the 1/4 mile drag strip...
