Door sill plastic guard protection. Suggestions?

Be sure to heat them up well with a heat gun (Not enough to start melting things, though). Makes removal quite easy. Brute force doesn't work so well.

We always need a leather expert on hand at all times here. You always have great info.

I replaced both of mine INNER door sills. I keep my feet up and warn passengers to prevent scratches now. I plan to cover with painter's tape if taking in for service.

There are only two metal clips holding the plastic tabs in the car body, one one either side of the tray or switches. You can use a pry or just pull them up by hand. Very easy, nothing to break. On the driver's side, use a flathead or similar plastic tool to push the 4 tabs to release the switch and then unplug it. Installation is obvious at this point.
