Love the wheels and the color. I noticed it has the standard interior instead of the leather interior. Nice way to save $4,000. Not sure what you give up by not having the leather interior, but seems like a good way to keep the cost down.
I bought the one they had on the lot and luckily they had a manual. I would have skipped the premium package and the 14 way seats as well, but ordering a 2018 would have resulted in a lesser discount and I do like the vented a/c seats and the lane change is nice (may avoid accidents). My 2013 had SPASM, sport exhaust and sport chrono, but I don't think I will really miss any of those options. I especially like the new sunroofs, the wheels and the way they improved everything (gone is that bulky football shaped rear-view mirror). The 991.1S had much more of a raw feel and sometimes I will miss it, but this one is more refined and suited for regular driving. The clutch is much easier to use whereas the .1 was a lot heavier and I would stall out at times. So....the .2 has welcome improvements but it is losing some raw feel, but I think PDK does that as well.
That is about as big a discount as you ever see new. I wonder if it was a canceled order since they hardly ever order manual for inventory. Was it a large volume dealer?
Yes, Leith in Cary, NC which is a big dealer. I have no idea if someone else ordered it. I was willing to walk away and they agreed to my price (which was higher than I wanted to go). So, I guess that is fair market value, when both sides feel a little screwed
Funny thing, everyone kept looking at the Macans-why I just don't understand.

If you stall this one , just hit the clutch and it will fire back up by itself. MT is great.
